This is a video we created for a competition Ryonet at Screenprinting.com put on to win a new T-shirt press. We got 2nd place in the competition and won some great T-shirts to print on as well as a bunch of different ink colors!

Each December, YI participates in Y-Art for the Holidays. This is a great chance for the teens to learn customer service and sales skills as they get to see what its like to sell their own work!

Teens who have completed the summer program, and have the skill set for the specific job, have the option of working on jobs for Perspective while at YI.

History of Perspective

In 2013, we sat down with a group of YI teens and they brainstormed what a YI business would look like. The teens came up with the name perspective because it is a business with products made from a teens “perspective”.

Unique Opportunities

Perspective has done some unique work in the past including a video for a kickstarter campaign, a TV audition video, and even filmed and Photographed the North American Unicycle Championships & Convention!

Job Skills

Teens learn real life job skills, not just in creating a product, but also in interacting with customers, taking orders, and selling their work.
